Synopsis
It is an interactive interdisciplinary proposal where the body of the users (performers or museum visitors) is the trigger for images and visual effects. Through the technique of image capture and motion tracking, displacements in a physical space are captured and these images are digitally processed in real time. This processing generates new images that are projected instantly. The space is fragmented and empty. It is the digital body in motion that signifies that space, reformulates it and shapes it. We are talking about a space built in real time, which disappears when there are no subjects. It is through the rhythmic inhabiting of human productions that this space becomes present and shows itself, and then disappears. Time and space are modified as categorical notions responding to the current technological paradigm: contemporary production is essentially intangible, its immateriality leaves no physical evidence, the canvas is virtual. Thus, the relationship of the body in its symbolic dimension with architecture is approached. The movements of the bodies will produce images that, when projected, will design the space. To see the architecture, we must discover it and recreate it with our presence.
