El murmullo de las casas
Proposal Description
Live streaming performative proposal conceived and carried out in the context of preventive and mandatory social isolation. The work presents a choreographic dramaturgy that orchestrates the presence of the seven performers (from their homes) with sound, visual and multimedia designs.
Synopsis
They say that the world has fallen into a fiction: the screens are windows from which you can hear the murmur of the houses, the cloud is an audience and the intimate, a spectacle. Before, in cities, houses remained empty for many hours a day. Now, in the new cities, the houses are densely inhabited: their occupants repeat their daily circuits in them. There are those who transform that repetition into a rehearsal and the future of their houses into a stage.
-
The project has received the award from the National Competition for Performing Activities in Virtual Environments of the National Theater Institute, 2020.
-
The show was invited to participate in Resquicio, International Virtual Theater Festival, 2020 (Puerto Rico, Peru and Argentina).
Artistic proposal
The Murmur of the Houses is a performative proposal framed in a border territory, hybrid and interdisciplinary, which combines the use of multimedia technology for the scene, sound design, movement (dance theater) and object theater. With this streaming performance (carried out entirely in the context of preventive and mandatory social isolation) the cuerpoequipaje Performing Arts Company begins its sixth year of consecutive activity. In its new work the Company integrates performers from Argentina, Chile and Italy.
